The first of these concerts was to be held on the 9th of September, 2022 with Niq Reefman (see above) being the guest of honour. Unfortunately, the weather forecasts did not bode well for a rain free evening, and given that the proposed concert was to be in the back yard, we hunted around for a hall to suit the purpose. The local RSL came to our rescue and allowed us to hold the concert in their facility.
One of the aims of such a concert is to provide our local artists with the opportunity of performing to a responsive crowd. So the program consisted of Gayndah performers for the first half and the guest artist for the second half. It went like this:
