The GAPPS Guitar Group met each Monday evening from 6.30 to 7.30. For some time it attracted a good number of members, some with some guitar playing experience and other just wishing to learn to play guitar. The group maintained suitable numbers even attracting a member from Mount Perry. It function but gradually numbers grew less and less as people felt unable to maintain atendance.
Sunday afternoon gigs at the Orange Hotel gave the Uke and Guitars the opportunity to get together and provide some entertainment for the locals. The image below is dated 18th of July 2021.
Midway throught 2025, with Matt Whipps and family leaving town for their trip on the bus to who knows where, it was time to close the group down.
